Let in the Sun is an internet-based holiday property lettings company, allowing owners to advertise their holiday properties on the website on a subscription basis. As well as providing the means for holidaymakers to search and view properties, the website we built allows owners to enter their property details, pay for their advertisments and allows the company to manage those advertisments and subscriptions.

Gear 4 Music are a large online retailer of musical equipment and software, who required not only a new online presence but a fully-featured e-commerce solution handling stock management and logistics. I was part of a team of developers engineering a new bespoke system to do just that, built atop of the Zend Framework and utilising ExtJS for the management screens. Areas I covered personally included stock allocation, intra-warehouse stock transfers and integration with Parcel Force's delivery and consignment systems.

Lythgoe required a brand new website for their North-West based car dealership. The site contained comprehensive information about their range of new cars, as well as a database and search facility for their stock of used cars across their dealers. The site interfaced with an extrnal used car database, pulling in information about current stock on a daily basis along with photographs of each vehicle. The site was built using Drupal, with a number of custom modules offering bespoke functionality such as the vehicle search and branch locator.

Although no longer actively maintained now that the night itself has to all intents and purposes finished, the Tangled website - promoting what at that time was Manchester's longest running club-night - was one of my early designs. I also built a rudimentary PHP and MySQL-based reviews system, and integrated the site with a 3rd-party forum and newsletter service.

Lowdown & Dirty are a club night in Manchester who feature a range of prominent international artists on a monthly basis. I designed and built a content-managed website for them, using the Drupal content management system along with various third-party modules for the events database and photo galleries, also utilising some JQuery for effects.
